Pexip Service PoPs (Points of Presence) are managed by industry-leading facilities ranging from human and personnel security to compliance with relevant standards such as SOC2, SSAE16, and ISO 27001.

Industry-Standard Encryption

Media traveling on the service uses industry-standard encryption to enable Secure Real-Time Transport (SRTP). Signaling is encrypted using SIP TLS, by default.

Network and Host IDS

The platform uses IDS/IPS solutions to help protect your service hosts. Features include instant alerts that are sent to administrators of any malicious activity and policy violations, as well as identifying and taking action against attacks.

The Platform Operating System
The platform uses a customized, cut-down version of Linux that limits the “attack surface” available to an attacker so exposing unnecessary network services is avoided.

Encrypted Communication
The platform ensures communication encryption is as secure as possible by implementing the latest industry standards for communication encryption for end-user devices.

Encrypt Legacy Devices

Connect legacy devices in the corporate network. The platform enables encryption when connecting to external devices that do support encryption.

Avoid Eavesdropping

The platform always displays the full meeting attendee roster and instant alerts when someone joins or leaves a meeting. Conferencing features such as the on-screen audio avatar and +n indicator make it hard for uninvited guests to go undetected.

Make It Private

For an additional layer of security, the platform utilizes PIN-protected virtual meeting rooms and allows all meeting hosts to lock the room. Additional participants are then allowed to enter only through a lobby and cannot enter the meeting room without permission.

Your Own TLS Certificates

The platform supports TLS and installation of your own TLS certificates – so clients and other servers can verify that they have genuinely connected to the correct server.

Enhance Security Using Policies

Customize your security options and create policies to allow or restrict calls into their service based on a variety of information, for example, the location of the caller.

One-Time-Use VMRs

Virtual meeting rooms have a unique and randomly generated alias that only exist for the duration of the meeting.
